Employment for the over 50s
50-65s Group
The Forum wishes to organise a group to work specifically for our younger members, many of whom are probably still in employment.
It is envisaged that this group will cover, amongst other things, preparation for retirement.
50+ volunteering
The Forum is seeking to assemble a list of all groups in the five "Neighbourhood" areas of the Borough to facilitate better partnership working and improve access to these services for older people.
It is also likely, we feel, that many of these groups will be run by volunteers aged 50 and over.
Many people aged 50 and over are volunteers - most often without recognition.
